MCAG Holds Annual Casino Night
August 15th, 2016 3:30PM
MCAG held its annual
casino night on Friday, August
26th, 2016. The event
was held at the Georgian
Club in Atlanta and there
was a record of more than
105 attendees. Casino night
has been held for many
years to bring together contractors
and members of
Local Union 72 for an
evening of fun and fellowship.
There were a number of
food stations available for attendees
to splurge on, including
a carving station
with prime rib, along with a
chef's salad bar. A "carb" station featuring pasta with Alfredo and Bolognese sauces and mashed potatoes with cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, and grits with cheese and bacon. A mixed seafood station was also on the menu. It included shrimp cocktail, poached salmon, oysters on the half shell and lobster bisque. Not to leave out the best part, there was a dessert buffet, which included, mini key lime tarts, mini pecan tarts, mini crème brulee and cheesecake with toppings to suite everyone’s taste! All of the food was prepared by the wonderful chef at the Georgian Club. Throughout the evening, DJ Rockin’ Randy provided music for dancing and karaoke. The more daring of the partygoers tried their hand at karaoke, providing additional entertainment for all. At the end of the “Casino” games party, attendees exchanged their chips for tickets that were randomly drawn for door prizes. Winners were encouraged to show their best dance moves to claim their prizes. In a recent interview with Vicki Young of MCAG, she stated, “You can always count on a good time at this party!”
